UK Jewish Film is the UK’s leading film charity celebrating Jewish stories, cultures and experiences through film. Their work spans three core areas:

  • UK Jewish Film Festival – one of the largest Jewish film festivals in the world, presenting outstanding UK and international cinema and special events to audiences across London and nationwide.
  • UK Jewish Film Factory – our film production and talent development programme, commissioning and producing around twelve new short films each year, exploring contemporary British-Jewish stories and experiences.
  • Changing Perspectives Education Programme – our nationally accredited education programme, which uses film to explore British-Jewish life and culture, combat antisemitism and promote understanding between communities.

About the Role

Working closely with senior colleagues, you will help deliver marketing campaigns, create engaging digital content, grow audiences and support ticket sales across the Festival and year-round programmes. Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and scheduling social media content
  • Producing newsletters and email communications
  • Updating website content
  • Assisting with audience development and ticket sales campaigns
  • Creating written, visual and video content
  • Supporting marketing activity during the UK Jewish Film Festival

About you

Jewish Film values enthusiasm, creativity and potential as much as direct experience. This role is being recruited specifically to support the delivery of the 2026 UK Jewish Film Festival. However, UK Jewish Film’s work extends well beyond the Festival through our Film Factory, education programme and year-round cultural activities. Subject to organisational requirements and available funding, there may be opportunities for future employment following the conclusion of the freelance contract.

Please send a CV and a cover letter explaining why you are interested in the role and how your experience meets the requirements to info@ukjewishfilm.org. The recruitment process will include an in-person interview with the Chief Executive and other senior team members. Please bring a sample of any previous relevant work with you at the time of the interview. Applications from candidates of all backgrounds are welcome. The closing date for this position is 01/07/2026 at 18:00.
