We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Duty Manager with sound technical knowledge to join our small, friendly team.
Alongside our other managers, you will be responsible for the day-to‑day running of The Art House, providing excellent customer service to all our visitors.
Delegated responsibilities include
- Events and hires – running events and being the key staff member on site.
- Projection – receiving and ingesting films, creating and scheduling playlists, making slides and DCPs, chasing trailers and other content, maintaining screen alignment, basic fault finding, and responding to issues if they arise.
- Experience in a management, supervisory or leadership role in a cinema, theatre or arts venue.
- Experience of organising live events
- Experience in all social media platforms.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Friendly and cheerful attitude and able to work well in a team.
- Punctual, presentable, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- Genuine interest in The Arts.
- Experience using Oscar ticketing software.
