Box To Box Films is looking for an experienced Italian‑speaking Assistant Producer to join a brand‑new docuseries for a leading streamer service, featuring a world‑famous athlete. The schedule runs from Summer 2026 to Spring 2027 and the role requires Italian language skills. Please apply only if you are fluent or professionally proficient in Italian.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development & Research
    • Idea Generation: Assist in brainstorming and fleshing out innovative concepts, collaborating with the creative team to ensure alignment with the project’s direction.
    • Archive Research & Fact‑Checking: Conduct archive research and verify information accuracy, providing essential support for both development, production and post‑production phases.
    • Story Outline Support: Contribute to the shaping of narratives, identifying potential story arcs, conflicts, and themes, and assist in creating briefs for talent and contributors.
  • Contributor & Talent Management
    • Outreach and Engagement: Identify and liaise with potential contributors, experts, and talent, assisting in communication and setting up interviews or auditions as required.
    • Contributor Preparation: Prepare participants for filming, providing them with necessary information and support to ensure a smooth on‑screen experience.
    • Compliance and Releases: Ensure all contributor paperwork, including releases, agreements, and any necessary clearances, is properly managed and organised.
  • Editorial Collaboration
    • Continuity Support: Work closely with editors and producers to track narrative continuity, ensuring storylines and themes align across episodes and scenes.
    • Shot and Scene Review: Participate in viewings to ensure footage aligns with story objectives, making note of potential reshoots or editing needs.
    • Feedback Integration: Actively incorporate feedback from senior producers, providing solutions or adjustments to improve the quality of the production.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Industry Knowledge: Background in unscripted TV production with a solid understanding of editorial and production processes.
    • Research & Detail‑Oriented: Strong research skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy, especially when handling sensitive content (including archive).
    • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with talent, contributors, and crew, fostering a supportive, efficient work environment.
    • Italian‑language: A must. Fluency or professional proficiency required.
