We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Estimator/QS to join a specialist, award-winning contractor delivering façade remediation and refurbishment projects. Candidates must have strong experience in façade remediation, with full through-wall construction experience being essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate cost estimates for façade remediation and construction projects valued up to £10 million
- Managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to final tender submission
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation
- Interrogating and understanding FRAEWs reports
- Producing detailed quantity take-offs and cost plans
- Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
- Supporting projects through the PCSA (Pre-Construction Services Agreement) process
- Liaising with internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase
- Undertaking occasional site visits to assess project requirements and gather information
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator or QS within façade remediation, building envelope, cladding, or related construction sectors
- Essential experience and understanding of full through-wall construction systems
- Strong knowledge of façade remediation methodologies and associated regulations
- Proven ability to manage tenders from enquiry through to submission
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
