We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator or Estimator to join a specialist, award-winning Building Envelope Solutions provider who operates nationwide as both a principal and subcontractor. The company delivers Façade & Fire wall remediation, Building Envelope solutions, and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accurate cost estimates for façade remediation and construction projects valued up to £10 million
  • Managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to final tender submission
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation
  • Interrogating and understanding FRAEWs reports
  • Producing detailed quantity take-offs and cost plans
  • Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Supporting projects through the PCSA (Pre-Construction Services Agreement) process
  • Liaising with internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase
  • Undertaking occasional site visits to assess project requirements and gather information

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within façade remediation, building envelope, cladding, or related construction sectors
  • A solid knowledge of system performance and their requirements to meet building safety standards
  • PCSA project pricing
  • Good prelim strategy knowledge
  • Essential experience and understanding of full through-wall construction systems
  • Strong knowledge of façade remediation methodologies and associated regulations
  • Proven ability to manage tenders from enquiry through to submission
  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
