Do you want a career working for one of the largest holiday park brands in the UK? Do you have a passion for sports, games & activities and have experience in organising leisure activities? Are you creative, fun and energetic? If so, this exciting new opportunity could be right for you.

This is a large park with many leisure facilities both dry and wet, including a swimming pool and climbing walls. We are looking for an innovative and organised individual to manage and maintain all of the leisure facilities and pool management.

The ideal candidate will have an infectious personality, be friendly and approachable, and have a leisure or sporting background. Experience of working in holiday parks in a similar role would be preferable; however, applicants with experience in organising or hosting leisure activities/events will also be considered.

Live-in accommodation can also be provided for the right person.

As an Activities and Pool Manager, you will report to the Head of Activities and will be responsible for leading a strong team to deliver the very best possible care and treatment of guests within the leisure and entertainment activities. You will also oversee the swimming pool area and manage the team of Lifeguards and Coaches.

The Purpose of the role:

  • Day-to-day running and organising of the activities and pool operations
  • Provide ongoing support to all activities and pool team members
  • Managing and maintaining pool facilities and teams
  • Ensuring yourself and the team are adhering to the general Health and Safety guidelines
  • Setting tasks and deadlines for the team and ensuring they follow through with them to the highest possible standard
  • Developing new ideas for new and existing customers and visitors
  • Bringing new ideas and initiatives to the business and implementing them where possible
