We are currently recruiting for a very exciting and fulfilling position, strategically managing a beautiful restaurant on an outstanding Resort in Dunoon! The role will see you working and taking full ownership of a stunning venue set within beautiful surroundings. This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking person, wanting and able to have a direct impact in shaping one of the F&B offerings of this resort. This is a position truly not to be missed. You will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within budgeted guidelines.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that food and beverage areas are set up for the day's business
  • Ensuring that staff are briefed and directed accordingly
  • Helping to come up with new ideas and run events within the facility
  • Helping to train the staff to quality first class standards
  • Working closely with the company to design menus to fit with the growth of the resort
  • Ensuring that Food and Beverage rooms are cleared at the end of each event
  • Handle guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner
  • Help create a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhere to the company's health and safety policy and procedures

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Will have experience as a Restaurant Manager within a guest focused environment
  • Will be passionate about F&B service
  • Will have an excellent eye for detail

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the restaurant and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
  • Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
  • Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
  • Lead the restaurant team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
  • Establish targets, KPI's, schedules, policies, and procedures
  • Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations
  • Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
  • Flexible working hours including some late evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
