We are currently recruiting for a very exciting and fulfilling position, strategically managing a beautiful restaurant on an outstanding Resort in Dunoon! The role will see you working and taking full ownership of a stunning venue set within beautiful surroundings. This is a great opportunity for a forward-thinking person, wanting and able to have a direct impact in shaping one of the F&B offerings of this resort. This is a position truly not to be missed. You will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within budgeted guidelines.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that food and beverage areas set up for the day's business
- Ensuring that staff are briefed and directed accordingly
- Helping to come up with new ideas and run events within the facility
- Helping to train the staff to quality first class standards
- Working closely with the company to design menus to fit with the growth of the resort
- Ensuring that Food and Beverage rooms are cleared at the end of each event
- Handle guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner
- Help create a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhere to the company's health and safety policy and procedures
Key Skills and Experience:
- Will have experience as a Restaurant Manager within a guest focused environment
- Will be passionate about F&B service
- Will have an excellent eye for detail
Responsibilities:
- Manage the restaurant and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
- Design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements
- Identify customers' needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
- Lead the restaurant team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
- Establish targets, KPI's, schedules, policies, and procedures
- Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
- Flexible working hours including some late evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
