RM5 / manchester / children services Spec: Registered Manager (Dual) – 2x Residential Children’s Home Location: North Manchester Salary: 55k to 65k depending on experience plus bespoke bonus packages Contract: Full-time, Permanent About our client Our Client established 2024 provides a bespoke, forward thinking approach to the delivery of excellent residential childcare provision they are committed to helping children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) achieve stability, growth, and brighter futures. Our clients new services x 2 2-bed children’s residential service set in North Manchester offers a safe, therapeutic, and family-style environment which fosters an individual approach with person centred care to enable our children to not only feel secure but whereby they can thrive to be the very best. If you are and have been managing or deputising for your manager the team and children within the service and in turn you feel you can offer the above then we want to hear from you. Duties As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the effective leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015. You will: Lead, develop, and inspire a small team of dedicated residential support workers. Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment. Develop and implement robust person centred care and placement plans. Oversee compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes. Work collaboratively with Ofsted, local authorities, and external agencies. Manage budgets, staffing, and rotas ensuring . Drive continuous improvement with a focus on achieving “Good” and “Outstanding” Ofsted outcomes continually. it is vital that you share our clients core values and you provide a safe environment which will enable every child to not only feel safe but will also enable a secure environment to thrive in.
