About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and passionate Internal Recruiter to join our newly re-launched recruitment team in Leeds, to drive the talent acquisition across the renewable energy sector. You\’ll play a key role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent to drive our mission of building a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across the renewables division, including engineering, project management, operations, and support functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, networking, and internal databases.
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the selection process.
- Maintain and update the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) which has yet to be implemented and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Promote employer branding initiatives and support recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within the renewables, energy, or engineering sectors.
- Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
- Managing the full recruitment process
- Providing feedback throughout the employment journey
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
- Passion for sustainability and the renewable energy industry.
Desirable:
- Experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., wind, solar, battery storage).
- CIPD or relevant HR/recruitment qualification.
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
