We are currently recruiting for a strong and experienced leader to manage the facilities cleaning team at one of our client's beautiful holiday parks in the Berwick area. We are looking for an individual who will ensure that the facilities and venues on park are left sparkling and that the cleaning team are motivated.

Guests come to our client's resorts to experience a world away from the day-to-day; this is not your average holiday company. As a key member of the park management team, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring the facilities and venues are presented to the highest of standards.

This role includes:

  • Oversee daily operations of all cleaning aspects for all holiday homes and park venues.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Schedule and coordinate contractor activities to meet service demands.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team ensuring they work productively and develop professionally.
  • Engage and inspire the team to always be guest obsessed.
  • Deliver our performance targets against budget, margin & cost control.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints related to cleaning services promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with the guest and owners' team to ensure a seamless experience for all.
  • At peak period you could manage a team of up to 60 employees.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

  • Have senior management experience in a practical, time-pressured environment.
  • Have a leadership style that is open, approachable but that commands respect.
  • Be able to plan and organise the workload, training and management of a large team.
  • Have solid experience in the cleaning sector.
