is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK leisure and hospitality operator for an experienced
Electrician
to join their established Facilities & Maintenance team in Lincolnshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a role that offers plenty of variety within a large and fast-paced operational environment.
You'll be working across a
large and varied site , supporting a wide range of guest-facing and operational areas. From accommodation and hospitality facilities through to public areas and essential back-of-house operations, this is a varied electrical role where no two days are quite the same.
You'll play an important part in keeping the operation running safely and efficiently, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and minor installations.
The Role
As Electrician, you will: Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site. Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, plant and equipment. Maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, power supplies and control panels. Complete minor installations, upgrades and new electrical works. Carry out electrical testing, inspections and routine safety checks. Support compliance relating to emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces and PAT testing. Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations, including
BS 7671 . Maintain accurate maintenance, testing and certification records. Follow risk assessments, safe systems of work and permit-to-work procedures. Respond to breakdowns and urgent electrical issues when required. Liaise with contractors and support third-party electrical works. Work collaboratively with the wider Facilities & Maintenance team to keep the operation running safely and efficiently. About You
To be considered, you will need: A recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent recognised training. City & Guilds / Level 3 NVQ electrical qualification or equivalent. 18th Edition BS 7671 qualification, including current Amendment 3 requirements. Previous experience working as a qualified electrician within a commercial, facilities or multi-site environment. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. A good understanding of electrical safety and compliance. The ability to work independently and prioritise your workload. Good communication and teamwork skills. A flexible approach to working within a busy operational environment. Previous experience within a large commercial, hospitality, leisure or customer-facing environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.
What's On Offer? £15.34 – £18.50 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. All relevant tools and equipment provided. Possible live in accommodation avaliable. Five-over-seven shift pattern, including weekends on a rota. A varied role within a large and interesting operational environment.
