Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a large volume catering environment
- Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn and grow
- Flexible approach to work and passion to progress
- Good culinary skills / passion for food
- Ability to follow direction from Senior Chefs and Managers
- Can prepare ingredients, cook meals and plate dishes throughout shift
- Can deliver exceptional food standards
- Able to deputise in the Head Chef’s absence
- Ensure high standard of hygiene and cleanliness for safe food preparation
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Safety standards, and implement recommendations from Food Safety Audits
- Maintain a cool head, embrace responsibility, and delegate appropriately
- Use working well under pressure, adaptable to varied day-to-day demands
- Self-motivated and adaptable, ensuring a safe, clean, fun, and positive working environment
