The Role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly Resource Base team, working with autistic pupils and pupils with social and communication difficulties.

The successful candidates will:

  • Experience working with primary-aged pupils in an educational setting
  • A clear understanding of how to motivate children and support them to make progress
  • The ability to present information clearly, both orally and in writing, in order to maintain records and assess pupils’ progress
  • A willingness to engage in further training and professional development
  • The ability to establish positive working relationships with a wide range of colleagues

Fluency Duty

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
