Join Our Team as a Lunchbreak Supervisor at Stanbridge Primary School (BS16)!

Start Date: January 2026

Salary: Grade 13, £24,796 FTE (Actual Salary: £3,976.48)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 7 hours, 5 minutes per week (11.50 am – 1.15 pm Monday to Friday), term time only to exclude INSET days (38 weeks)

The Role:

Stanbridge Primary School are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lunchbreak Supervisor to join their hard-working and supportive staff team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also capable of using initiative.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain warmth, care, and full commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
  • Consistently maintain a calm approach in interactions with children.
  • Support the school's approach to outdoor play, embracing our 'whatever the weather' ethos.
  • Act as a vital link between children, lunchbreak staff, and other school staff.
  • Be willing to fully participate in training and professional development.
  • Adhere strictly to standards of confidentiality.

Fluency Duty: This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
