The Role

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to get stuck into all aspects of marketing, sales support, and communications. You'll be responsible for creating high‐quality marketing materials, supporting tenders, managing our CRM, and helping drive new business opportunities, while also ensuring our communications and customer experience align with our standards and ISO requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support tender submissions with high-quality documents and content
  • Assist in generating new business opportunities
  • Monitor and track sales activity and pipeline
  • Support the Commercial team with client‐facing materials
  • Maintain and continuously improve the CRM system
  • Ensure accurate data capture, reporting, and pipeline visibility
  • Use CRM insights to support business development activity
  • Organise and coordinate attendance at key industry events (previous events have included Highways UK, UK Construction Week) – manage logistics, materials, and on‐the‐day presence
  • Maximise value from events through follow‐ups and lead tracking
  • Create and maintain company brochures, spec sheets, and presentations
  • Produce graphics and visuals for internal and external use
  • Manage and grow company social media channels
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials
  • Manage internal communications to keep teams informed and engaged
  • Support customer satisfaction monitoring in line with ISO standards
  • Work alongside the compliance team and wider operations team to ensure materials and processes align with company standards
  • Support initiatives linked to our ISO's (9001, 14001 and 45001)

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. You'll likely have:

  • 3–6 years' experience in a marketing, communications, or business development role
  • Experience creating marketing materials (brochures, presentations, social content)
  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Experience using or managing a CRM system
  • Confidence working with different teams across a business
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • CIM qualification or working towards
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or a similar industry
  • Exposure to tenders or bid support
  • Understanding of compliance or ISO standards
