Are you an organised, confident and commercially minded events professional who loves creating memorable experiences?

As an Events Co-ordinator, you will manage enquiries and event bookings across weddings, conferences, meetings, corporate events, celebrations, and golf, taking each booking from initial enquiry through to signed contract and successful event delivery.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales & Events Manager, you will help drive event sales while delivering an exceptional experience for every client.

The role is predominantly office-based Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support events during evenings and weekends, including Christmas Party Nights and other key events.

Full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and promptly respond to enquiries across weddings, conferences, meetings, corporate events, celebrations and golf.
  • Proactively develop enquiries by telephone and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to signed contract.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage allocated accounts.
  • Work with the Sales & Events team to develop major accounts and maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, function sheets, invoices and other event documentation accurately and in line with company procedures.
  • Coordinate with clients and hotel departments to ensure accurate communication and successful event delivery.
  • Meet and greet clients on event days and provide a professional point of contact.
  • Support the delivery of weddings, conferences, meetings, corporate events, celebrations, golf events and Christmas Party Nights.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of customer service before, during and after every event.
  • Keep client and event information accurate and up to date.

About You

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence communicating with clients by telephone and face-to-face.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, sales-focused approach with an eye for additional revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and events.
  • Confidence working with different departments and stakeholders.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective when priorities change.
  • A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when events require.
  • Previous experience in hotel events, wedding sales, conference and events, venue sales or hospitality is essential.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location and requirements of the role.
