With ambitious growth plans across the resort and wider estate, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Regional Account Manager to drive business development, grow key accounts and maximise revenue opportunities. The Role

We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship‑focused Regional Account Manager to lead sales and business development activity across Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort and the wider Estate. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple business areas, including hotel accommodation, MICE and corporate retreats, meetings and events, spa, golf, leisure experiences and selected Estate activities.

As a key commercial ambassador for Bowood, you will:

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with corporate clients, agencies and tourism partners
  • Increase brand awareness across regional and national markets
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Estate teams, helping deliver exceptional customer experiences while maximising commercial performance and long‑term business growth

The successful candidate will combine strong business development and account management skills with a strategic mindset, using market insights, forecasting and performance analysis to identify opportunities, improve conversion and support the Resort's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a strategic sales and business development plan to achieve revenue targets across hotel, spa, golf, events and visitor experiences
  • Drive new business acquisition across MICE, corporate retreats, conferences, leisure groups, events and strategic partnerships
  • Build, manage and grow key accounts, corporate relationships, agency partnerships and tourism networks to maximise repeat business and long‑term revenue growth
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Bowood, representing the Estate at networking events, trade shows, industry forums and business development activities
  • Lead proactive sales activity, account management and market outreach, supporting the wider sales team to maximise enquiries, conversions and commercial performance
  • Identify new revenue streams, commercial opportunities and third‑party partnerships, while supporting the development of large‑scale events and visitor experiences
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations and Estate teams to deliver effective lead generation, conversion strategies and exceptional customer experiences
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and commercial performance, providing accurate forecasting, pipeline management and revenue reporting
  • Champion a sales‑focused culture across the Estate, driving innovation, continuous improvement and alignment with Bowood's commercial objectives
  • Maintain effective use of CRM and sales management systems, ensuring accurate data management, reporting and compliance with company procedures

About You

  • Proven success in hotel, resort, hospitality, leisure or event sales
  • A strong track record of delivering revenue growth and exceeding targets
  • Excellent account management, networking and business development skills
  • Experience building relationships with corporate clients, agencies and event organisers
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach and a passion for creating opportunities
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across multiple departments
