Bowmill Metal Treatments is currently seeking a Trainee Special Process Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a professional manner and excellent timekeeping, be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and desire to succeed. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality process conditions utilising preventative measures to ensure all product processing is conducted defect free, minimising and eliminating non-conformance. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the FAIR process in accordance with the applicable procedure.
- Carrying out Internal Auditing of the Company Quality System against procedure and National Standards.
- Supporting Final Inspection activity to ensure compliance to customer, specification and drawing requirements.
- Preparing documentation for External Audits.
- Monitoring and Reporting of company metrics.
- Management and Reporting of Non-conformance and Root Cause Corrective Action.
On-site parking, life insurance, and sick pay (subject to probationary period) are provided. There is an early finish on Friday. Bowmill Metal Treatments offers a generous holiday entitlement of 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
