Bowmill Poole is currently seeking a Kanban Inspector working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be conducting inspection operations within the KANBAN manufacturing facility, identifying non-conforming product and ensuring product non-conformity is managed. In-house training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Conduct inspection operations within the KANBAN manufacturing facility.
- Register inspection transactions into the MRP system.
- Record & report all internal & supplier defects within the KANBAN manufacturing facility.
- Ensure where unavoidable errors occur, they are detected as early as possible during the manufacturing process and not at the pre-treatment or final inspection stage.
- Support all corrective actions & quality reviews to ensure preventative action is effective and the KANBAN process is effective.
- Ensure the KANBAN process flow is uninterrupted and required delivery schedule is supported.
- Implement minor rework when required.
Duties more specific to this role:
- Conduct goods in inspection.
- Support all Inspection activity when requested.
- Booking in sub contract parts.
- Pre-Process Inspections.
- Identify and report non-conforming products and arrange rework where required.
- Final inspection of all Kanban kit deliveries prior to dispatch.
- Support the manufacturing process & ensure production is not delayed.
