About the Role

:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Hire Desk Coordinator to join our Holdings Region, based at High Edge Court, Church Street, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 2BW, to coordinate procedures, systems and quality and provide administrative support.

This is a full time six-month fixed term role with the potential to become permanent. Ideally 8 hours over 5 days per week, 08:30am – 5:00pm.

Duties of the Role:

  • Coordinate the allocation and scheduling of resources and equipment to meet project or client needs
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations
  • Coordinate transport and logistics arrangements
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations and service delivery
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally, via phone, email, and in person
  • Provide support to managers to continue to provide high standards of quality, service, and performance
  • Assist in procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Support the coordination of labour and subcontractor resources
  • Produce and review layout plans and documentation for approval using relevant design tools.
  • Record and report any damage or maintenance issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up and cost tracking
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service, team performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Must have strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the hire industry and sales or similar
  • Previous experience using outlook, word and excel
  • Previous experience using E Draw for proposed cabin layouts and requesting approval would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
  • Previous experience using Insphire would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
