We are seeking an enthusiastic Contracts Manager to join our B+K Property Services, based at Robert W Kirkland House, Alfreton Road, DE21 4AG. This is a full-time permanent role.
Duties of the role
- To understand and convey the contract requirements / specifications of the project are met by all employees.
- To maintain an excellent working relationship with clients, representatives and members of the public.
- To plan and manage the labour requirements on site in particular the organisation and appointment of subcontractors.
- To be aware of all Health & Safety management issues and requirements to ensure that all staff have the relevant qualifications and training in order to comply with the H&S Policy and procedures.
- Ensure that financial targets in relation to cash flow and profit are achieved or exceeded and to liaise with the project commercial teams to ensure control of the budget.
- To ensure the site team and wider construction team complies with KPS Ltd Management Procedures as appropriate.
- To provide adequate guidance and support to ensure a site achieves a good Considerate Constructor’s Scheme (CCS) score.
Key Skills and experience required
- Experience of contractual requirements and management skills.
- Degree or equivalent in construction or engineering discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of programme and constraints.
- Use of Work Wallett.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent knowledge of H&S policy and procedures.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
