We are seeking an enthusiastic Planner to join our Bristol Office, based at 33 Colston Avenue, Bristol, BS1 4UA, to produce programmes for Design, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning activities for each project from tender through to completion; also reviewing the progress of programmes on a regular cycle and management reporting as directed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the complete planning role from preconstruction through to project completion including internal and external progress reporting, 'as built' record keeping, BIM requirements and team programme knowledge development.
  • Understand and appreciate key tender documents at tender stage: Employers Requirements / Specifications / Drawings / Phasing Plans / Overall Project Programme / General Strategy.
  • Develop tender programme and phasing plans including subcontract package information and project specific details with input from construction management team.
  • Support preconstruction team with planning information to deliver associated tenders.
  • Work with design managers to produce targeted and achievable design release schedules that meet construction programme requirements.
  • Ensure accurate contract programme in place and agreed with construction, design, and commercial teams at project award.
  • Regularly review and record construction progress with site teams, highlight areas of concern and assist with mitigation measures.
  • Produce straight line and jagged line programme updates monthly.
  • Take regular progress photographs monthly and upload to Viewpoint 4P for reference.
  • Attend project meetings as required.
  • Collate information throughout project life to inform future tender bids and construction processes, including lessons learned.
