We are looking to recruit a temporary administrator, 5 days a week for a 12-month maternity cover. The hours of work will be 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday-Thursday, with a 4:30pm finish on a Friday.

Duties of the Role:

  • Managing the new starter process, including all correspondence with new staff
  • Chasing approvals and liaising with relevant departments including IT and Fleet
  • Producing offer letters and contracts and processing leavers
  • Chasing outstanding documents and right to work
  • Processing changes to terms such as reduction in working days, sabbaticals, secondments and flexible working
  • Managing attendance and balancing holidays
  • General admin such as references and dealing with day-to-day email enquiries
  • Book Accommodation for the group
  • Booking Train travel and costing out to the Group
  • Processing refunds and booking season tickets
  • Reports, including but not limited to Monthly Travel and Accommodation, sickness and NMW.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous Administration experience an advantage
  • Able to offer a high turnaround in a fast-paced environment
  • HR systems knowledge an advantage
  • Ability to deal well with change and work well as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Comfortable using MS Outlook, Excel, Word
