Are you an experienced Quality Control Co-ordinator from the textile, chemicals or coatings industry? We’re supporting a respected textile manufacturer in Greater Manchester, as they search for a QC Co-ordinator to join their team! You’ll play a key part in staying ahead of quality challenges and making sure customer requirements are met to the highest standard. It’s a hands‑on role with plenty of variety and a great opportunity for someone ambitious who wants to carve out a long-term career within a highly regarded textile manufacturer. Your role will be spread across two sites, so you do need to have a full, clean driving licence (you can use the company pool car to travel between the sites (maybe twice a week maximum)).

About You:

  • Previous experience in a quality or lab focused role is ideal
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  • Confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams
  • Able to manage your own workload and see tasks through
  • Flexible, proactive and happy working as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Comfortable using Excel, Word and reporting tools
  • Textiles experience is advantageous, but the right attitude matters more

About the Role:

  • On-site 5 days per week (working across two Manchester sites, outside of peak travel times – 30 min drive with pool car access)
  • Complete technical checks and test bulk production samples
  • Work with suppliers to approve goods and resolve issues
  • Record quality data and keep sample storage organised
  • Assess bulk deliveries using an AQL framework
  • Update the ERP system with accurate PO status
  • Carry out in‑house fabric testing (abrasion, strength, colour, chemical)
  • Arrange external testing with third‑party labs
  • Manage and share test data with the wider team
  • Issue standards and technical data to suppliers
  • Support stock investigations and assess returned goods
  • Manage supplier approvals, priorities and backlogs
  • Set up and manage the new Master Sample library and process
