About You:
- You’ve got a machining-biased apprenticeship, up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering (With at least 5+ years of experience)
- Knowledge of 4 & 5 axis machining and CNC lathes
- You can easily read and interpret engineering drawings
- You’re a solid project manager
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with multiple departments
- Commutable to Middleton each day
About the role:
- As the Production Engineer, you’ll provide support to all areas of the production team
- Your knowledge and expertise will optimise and improve process capability and yield
- You’ll create routings, BOMs, costings and process specifications
- You’ll provide technical expertise in tooling, fixtures and programming
- For this role, you’ll need to be conversant with Solidworks, CAD, CAM and SAP
