We’ve partnered with a world leading manufacturer in search of an Account Manager to join their close-knit team, based near Rochdale, Greater Manchester. This is a newly created role, due to continued business growth. They manufacture niche products used in critical applications and have built a first class reputation for quality, innovation and long-term customer partnerships. It’s a varied, people-focused role where you’ll build relationships with customers and work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of service.

About you:
- You have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in account management or sales, ideally within textiles, or a manufacturing environment
- You’re a natural people person; you’ll be confident dealing with senior professionals to develop business
- Self-motivated, driven and comfortable working autonomously
- Commercially aware, you’re able to identify opportunities to grow accounts
- You’re a go-getter, with a proactive, hunter mentality
About the Role:
- Working alongside the Key Account Sales Manager, you’ll help manage and develop key customer accounts
- You’ll identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Staying ahead of market trends, proactively developing new business opportunities
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met to the highest standards
- Comfortable in handling customer queries and maintaining high service levels
- Attending customer meetings and recording activity in the CRM system
- Happy to travel within the UK and occasionally Europe, as and when required
