Do you enjoy keeping quality tight and making sure products meet the standard first time? We're supporting a long‑established textile business as they look to bring a Quality Control Coordinator into their team. You'll play a key part in staying ahead of quality challenges and making sure customer requirements are met to the highest standard. It's a hands‑on role with plenty of variety, some flexibility across two local UK sites, and a great opportunity for someone ambitious who wants to grow within a supportive, professional team. You'll spend time across two Greater Manchester sites - Stockport and Bury so you will need a clean, driving licence. You will have access to the company pool car to travel between sites.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a quality focused role is ideal
  • Strong attention to detail with a naturally analytical mindset

  • Comfortable using Excel, Word and reporting tools

About the role:

  • Completing technical checks and testing bulk production samples
  • Working with suppliers to approve goods and resolve quality issues
  • Recording quality data and keeping sample storage organised
  • Assessing bulk deliveries using an AQL framework
  • Carrying out in‑house fabric testing (abrasion, strength, colour, chemical) and arranging external testing with third‑party labs
  • Managing and sharing test data with the wider team
  • Issuing standards and technical data to suppliers
  • Supporting stock investigations and assessing returned goods
  • Visiting customer sites when needed
  • Managing supplier approvals, priorities and backlogs
  • Communicating clear updates to internal teams
  • Set up and management of new Master Sample library and process
