About You

  • You’re an experienced Quality Manager with an engineering or manufacturing background
  • You’ve a recognised engineering qualification
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, including internal and external audits
  • Experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Knowledge of inspection and testing methods, including NDT techniques
  • You’re comfortable with occasional overseas travel over the course of the year

About the Job

  • Lead and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Manage internal, external and customer audits
  • Lead and develop the Quality team
  • Drive quality improvements using data, RCA and Lean methodologies
  • Manage supplier quality, audits and Supplier Performance Management
  • Oversee inspection, testing, calibration and quality documentation
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement effective corrective actions
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs to senior management
  • Support the development of an Integrated Management System incorporating ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and other departments to improve quality across the business
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using tools such as PFMEA, MSA and DFM
  • Manage departmental budgets and quality priorities to support production
