We’re supporting a global engineering leader in their search for an experienced HSE Manager. This is a permanent role based in North Manchester. The business has an exceptional reputation worldwide, known for innovation and sustainability delivering technical engineered products to customers around the globe.

You’ve got a solid background in HSE management (ideally within manufacturing or engineering).

  • You’re NEBOSH / IOSH / IEMA qualified.
  • Strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Oversee day-to-day health, safety, welfare and environmental activity across site.
  • Support and guide teams on HSE processes, policies and best practice.
  • Help manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Carry out risk assessments, inspections and regular reviews, keeping records up to date.
  • Identify training needs and manage HSE-related training across the business.
  • Lead HSE meetings at both shopfloor and management level.
  • Produce reports and updates on HSE performance for senior leadership.
