Do you enjoy keeping quality tight and making sure products meet the standard first time? We are supporting a long-established textile business as they look to bring a Quality Control Coordinator into their team. You'll play a key part in staying ahead of quality challenges and making sure customer requirements are met to the highest standard. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, some flexibility across two local UK sites, and a great opportunity for someone ambitious who wants to grow within a supportive, professional team.

About you:
- Previous experience in a quality control role
- Strong attention to detail with a naturally analytical mindset
- Confident communicator who works well with suppliers and internal teams
- Able to manage your own workload and see tasks through to completion
- Flexible, proactive and happy working as part of a team
- Full driving licence
- Comfortable using Excel, Word and reporting tools
- Textiles experience is helpful - but the right attitude matters more
About the role:
- Completing technical checks and testing bulk production samples
- Working with suppliers to approve goods and resolve quality issues
- Recording quality data and keeping sample storage organised
- Assessing bulk deliveries using an AQL framework
- Updating the ERP system with accurate PO status
- Carrying out in-house fabric testing (abrasion, strength, colour, chemical)
- Arranging external testing with third-party labs
- Managing and sharing test data with the wider team
- Creating and maintaining the master samples library
- Issuing standards and technical data to suppliers
- Supporting stock investigations and assessing returned goods
- Visiting customer sites when needed
- Managing supplier approvals, priorities and backlogs
- Communicating clear updates to internal teams
