About You:

  • Machining biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering
  • Experience of 4 and 5 axis machining techniques and CNC Lathes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Project management experience
  • Good team player, comfortable working on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills are required as you'll be dealing with lots of other people in the business

  • The role of Production Engineer provides a support function to all areas of production
  • Your expertise will optimise and improve process capability and yield
  • You’ll provide support with routings, programmes, tooling, fixtures and technical support
  • You’ll provide support with BOMs, production orders and costings
  • For this role, you’ll need to be conversant with Solidworks, CAD, CAM and SAP
