We are partnering with a West Yorkshire manufacturer who has a growth strategy in place. They are looking for an experienced Lab / QC Technician to join their technical team.

About You:
- Ideally, you will have had exposure to working in a laboratory with textiles, chemicals, coatings or dyes; this could be during your studies or in employment.
- You should have an analytical mindset and be able to provide accurate analysis and reporting of your findings.
- You’ll need to be a people-person and will enjoy collaborating with internal teams including product development and production.
- With your high attention to detail, you will thrive on providing top-tier, critical information to your team.
- You’ll have patience, independence and a passion for textiles.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and shift your focus is needed for this role.
About The Role:
- You’ll join as Laboratory Technician and will work in support of the Product Development Manager.
- Your primary responsibilities will be day-to-day testing of incoming samples, raw materials, in-process and finished goods using various testing methods.
- You should have a good eye for colour and will need to undertake a test at interview stage.
- You will record, review, file and report findings of all testing, escalating any anomalies and making suggestions for improvement.
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order, ready for next use.
