About You
- Machining biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering
- Experience of 4 and 5 axis machining techniques and CNC Lathes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Project management experience
- Whist we need a good team player, youll also be comfortable working on your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills are required as youll be dealing with lots of other people in the business
About the role
- The role of Production Engineer provides a support function to all areas of production
- Your expertise will optimise and improve process capability and yield
- Youll provide support with routings, programmes, tooling, fixtures and technical support
- Youll provide support with BOMs, production orders and costings
- For this role, youll need to be conversant with Solidworks, CAD, CAM and SAP
