Bowker Motor Group is a successful, well-established family-owned business representing some of the world's most prestigious automotive brands. We are currently seeking qualified Vehicle Technicians to join our aftersales teams across our North West centres.
We have opportunities available at the following locations:
- Bowker BMW & MINI Preston (Preston Docklands)
- Bowker BMW & MINI Blackburn (Trident Park, Blackburn)
- Porsche Centre Preston
- Porsche Centre Bolton

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing faults and recommending appropriate repair solutions
- Communicating effectively with Workshop Controllers and Service Advisors
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical knowledge
- Supporting customers with technical queries where required
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and administration
- Completing work efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Attending manufacturer and company training to maintain technical competence
Based on the site and franchise you join, you will work within modern, manufacturer-approved workshop facilities, supported by the latest tools, equipment and training opportunities.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Quality-focused approach to work
- Aptitude for multi-tasking
- Full UK driving licence
Successful candidates will be capable of carrying out all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair to a high standard.
