Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Warehouse Operative – Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our Thorne team.

About The Role

  • Loading and unloading trailers & racking using FLT
  • Picking Orders
  • Using our own WMS to manage stock
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping
  • Restacking of pallets
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Communicating with team members and office staff
  • Assisting with handball containers

Successful candidates

  • Counterbalance Forklift experience with in-date licenses
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Quick thinker and problem solver.
  • Good communication and written skills.
  • Ability to work within a team or on your own.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • A good attitude to work.

Rates Of Pay, Shift Patterns & Benefits

  • Monday – Friday Alternate shifts – 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00hrs
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company Sick Pay

  • Optional staff events throughout the year (Football, Golf, Fishing, Walking & Cycling)
