Role Description

We are seeking a highly organised Transport Planner to join our operations team in Hull. Our Hull depot supports a large UK transport and warehousing operation, alongside our international services. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating collections and deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with drivers and customers, always ensuring excellent communication and full compliance with transport regulations. Strong customer service skills are essential to maintaining high standards across the operation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Transportation Planning and Transport Modelling
  • Experience in Operations Management and Transportation Management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and logistics best practices
  • Knowledge in relevant transport planning software and IT tools is a plus
