HGV Class 2 Driver (Tramper) in Rochdale

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Class 2 HGV (Tramper) Driver to join our Rochdale team.

Duties:

• Safely operate a curtain sided truck to transport goods and materials
• Load security using internal and ratchet straps
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively

Qualifications:

• Valid Cat C Licence, Tachograph card and CPC
• Experience as a HGV driver, preferably with experience with tachograph regulations and efficient driving
• Able to work flexible hours
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
