Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a curtain‑sided truck to transport goods and materials – local collection and deliveries in Rochdale, Bury and Huddersfield areas
- Secure loads using internal and ratchet straps
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Plan routes and ensure on‑time deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers and team members effectively
