Due to continuedexpansion, we are seeking a HGV Workshop Technician to join our Selby team.
Key Tasks β
- Perform day to day vehicle/trailer repairs and inspections in the workshop and also at other sites
- Undertake the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures.
- Ensure that all relevant administration and documentation are to the correct standard. (Service sheets, Job cards , parts) working with the admin team
- Liaising with the drivers and traffic department to ensure all the vehicle Servicing , defects and issues are dealt with straight away.
- A solid understanding of electrical systems , fleet management systems and DVS compliance
- To be flexible in approach to the role as a whole.
- Assist in the improvement & development of the workshop operation.
- Work and communicate well as part of a small team with all departments

- Fully Qualified LGV workshop Technician who has the desirable skills to progress within our company
- Knowledge of IT , fleet management and Diagnostic Systems.
- Welding and Fabrication Skills.
- Flexible approach to a job as a whole.
- HGV license
- Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm/ 8.00am to 6.00pm alternative shifts
- Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
- Good rate of pay depending on experience.
- Ongoing training for career development.
