W.H. Bowker was established in 1919 and remains a family-owned logistics operator. Providing over 1.2 million ft² of warehousing across 10 strategically located distribution centres, the fleet consists of over 225 vehicles and 450 trailers.

About the site

Bowker’s new Thorne Distribution Centre Nr Doncaster consists of 31,000 pallet locations and offers high-quality racked warehousing designed for multi-line order picking.

About the role

Opportunities have arisen in our warehouse operation. We are looking to grow the team to assist in moving the business forward.

• Loading and unloading trailers & racking using FLT
• Using our own WMS to manage stock
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping
• Restacking of pallets
• Adhering to health and safety protocols
• Communicating with team members and office staff
• FLT experience with in-date licenses
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• A positive and can-do attitude
• Quick thinker and problem solver
• Good communication and written skills
• Ability to work within a team or on your own
• A good attitude to work

Rates of pay, shift patterns & benefits

• £12 per hour including shift pay premium
• Monday – Friday / 7.5 hrs working day
• 06.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00 rotating
• Company Sick Pay
