The Executive Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage of Cambridge House will be the strategic business leader of the property's Food & Beverage department, responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the quality of the property's food & beverage experiences. This role works with direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.

The position ensures food & beverage operations meet the brand’s standards, targets customer needs, ensures team member engagement, focuses on growing revenues and maximises the department's financial performance. Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of Cambridge House target customers and team members and provides a return on investment to the owner and company.

Oversee the deployment of the strategy and business plan for Cambridge House to deliver on our mission of being the best-loved operator of one-of-a-kind luxury hospitality and experiences. Lead Service Excellence to ensure the fundamentals are in place for a successful embedding of our culture to be best loved. Establish and maintain high service standards and training initiatives.

Execute the recruitment and employee branding strategy so that Cambridge House is the employer of choice in London. Responsible for building a rich culture of trust, pride, and joy that will result in high team member advocacy and engagement. Oversee the execution and successful implementation of the guest experience - Pre-Arrival, Arrival, During The Stay, Departure, and Post-Departure to ensure that our guests report the highest levels of menu selection and quality along with personal and customised services.

Responsible for curating food and beverage experiences and programming unique to Cambridge House through daily rituals, activities, amenities, product selection, partner alignment, and space activation. Responsible for financial performance for the department. Responsible for the management of pre-opening and OS&E budgets as well as the building of the operating budgets. Responsible for developing the right labour models and controls to deliver on the budgeted margins.

Effectively support owner relationships on behalf of Auberge to ensure the owners maintain trust and confidence in our stewardship of their asset. Lead pricing and preparation of menus in coordination with the culinary team, develop a beverage and wine program. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards and liquor laws.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in a similar role or Director of Food and Beverage in luxury hospitality with oversight of a large multiunit operation.
  • Hotel opening experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience building teams to successfully launch in an urban market for a global luxury brand.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in Hotel Management, Business or a combination of these.
  • Strong aptitude in financial management, financial reports, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated track record of strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Ability to live and work within the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
  • Multi-lingual extremely helpful.
