We are seeking a talented and dynamic Acoustics Systems Engineer, Partnerships to drive technical collaboration with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology partners, ensuring seamless integration of Masimo’s innovative solutions into customer ecosystems.

As a key technical liaison, you will drive systems engineering efforts, aligning our core products, technologies and experiences with industry requirements while fostering strong partnerships. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, business development, and external automotive partners to align system architectures, drive technical requirements and deliver high performance automotive solutions for next generation vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Collaboration & Partnership Management
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, including OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Lead system-level discussions to align Masimo brand technologies, products and solutions with market and industry requirements.
  • Define and manage system architecture, integration strategies, and technical roadmaps with partners.
  • Represent Masimo Consumer in technical meetings, industry events, and partner workshops.
  • Systems Engineering & Integration
    • Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and performance criteria for key partnerships.
    • Drive new IP and product innovations and developments to ensure Masimo brand solutions are considered world-leading and best-in-class.
    • Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, and UX teams to ensure seamless product system integration.
    • Conduct system modelling, analysis, and validation to ensure interoperability and compliance.
    • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of integrated solutions during development and testing.
    • Conduct end product tuning and sign-off to meet brand requirements.
  • Project Management & Execution
    • Drive technical project execution in partnership with internal teams and external collaborators.
    • Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure smooth product developments and integration.
    • Track and report progress, ensuring technical and business alignment with partners.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Required

    • BS or MS in Engineering, Acoustics or a related field; demonstratable experience in either consumer product or automotive systems engineering, with a focus on partnerships or cross-company collaboration.
    • Excellent leadership skills with a consistent track record of driving product delivery and operational excellence with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and technology providers.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude to addressing challenges.
    • Strategic problem solver and influencer with the ability to identify and exploit new opportunities and technologies.
    • Dynamic, able to learn quickly; self-starter and unafraid to ask questions.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills – able to translate complex problems/issues into simple to understand form; able succinctly compile and compose written reports and presentations.

    Preferred/Advantageous

    • Understanding of electrical and audio architectures for consumer electronics and/or automotive applications, embedded systems, and software/hardware integration.
    • Knowledge of UX/UI systems and HMI design considerations.
    • Hands-on experience with system simulation and audio tuning tools (MATLAB/Simulink, AudioWeaver, etc.).
