I am searching for a Full Stack Software Developer to join our client's growing team. This role is working within an agile development environment, and you will be building and maintaining web-based applications that support healthcare organisations. This role is offered as either a fully remote role or as a hybrid-working opportunity, whatever is the successful candidate's preference. The client office is based in Exeter, Devon. About YouWe are looking for a dynamic and skilled Full Stack Software Developer, someone who is able to work in an agile team developing and maintaining web-based applications in a microservices architecture, typically consisting of Java microservices and a React front end using Postgres and/or SQL Server databases.
Role and Responsibilities- Design and develop responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Develop and document APIs in a microservices architecture.
- Create Postman and unit tests which can be automated.
- Participate in planning and estimation in sprint planning sessions.
- Integrate with third party APIs and web services.
- Identify opportunities to adopt modern practices, methodologies or frameworks.
- Investigate and resolve support calls from customers or from the internal support team.
- Good knowledge of front-end languages including HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Good knowledge of back-end languages, preferably Java or C#.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework such as React or Angular.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL based databases.
- Experience with a design prototyping tool such as Figma.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functional teams and with external stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality products and services to customers.
