We are searching for a Head of IT for a prestigious international business based out of Plymouth , South Devon .
The role is office-based so you will need to live within a commutable distance of Plymouth to be considered for the opportunity or you will be in a position to relocate to the area.
You will be responsible for leading and managing the IT Department, including, infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, applications, development and support teams.
Other main duties will include : –
- Managing all IT Department staff and having budget ownership for IT operations, projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Selecting vendors, managing procurement and all contracts that relate to IT services and systems.
- Overseeing all IT assets, licenses, and taking responsibility for technology lifecycle management.
- Developing and executing enterprise level IT strategy.
- Delivering large-scale IT projects.
- Driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring data security and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Taking responsibility for data protection and compliance ensuring relevant industry standards are implemented and maintained throughout the business.
