Overview
Pastoral Support Officer (PSO) role to support students’ wellbeing, behaviour and attendance, helping them feel safe, included and ready to learn.
The PSO will work in partnership with staff, parents and outside agencies to support students in overcoming social and emotional barriers to learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of pastoral care for students and contribute to a positive school culture.
- Support pupils to improve wellbeing, manage behaviour and attend regularly.
- Collaborate with staff, families and external agencies to implement support plans.
- Monitor student welfare and contribute to safeguarding activities as required.
