About Bower

Bower Collective is a natural household products business on a mission to eliminate plastic waste. We are a fast growing D2C subscription brand and a multi-award-winning B Corp. Learn more at www.bowercollective.com

Why this role?

Bower Collective launched in 2020 with a vision to eliminate plastic waste and help people enjoy a more sustainable home - through our range of outstanding natural cleaning products delivered in reusable packaging.

This role sits at the heart of our growth function. You’ll run our day-to-day performance marketing across Meta, Google, Amazon and affiliate networks – building, launching and optimising campaigns, managing budgets, and putting our ‘test and learn’ roadmap into action across both acquisition and retention.

We’re looking for a hands‑on performance marketer with at least three years’ experience at a D2C brand, who loves being in the platforms. You’ll deliver against a growth plan set with our Growth Director and founders, with a clear brief: grow customers month on month while keeping CAC stable and payback within our targets. There’s real room to grow here – as the business scales, so can your scope.

What you’ll do

  • Run and optimise paid campaigns day to day across Meta, Google (Search and Performance Max) and other channels as required
  • Manage budgets and pacing against weekly and monthly targets for CAC, ROAS and payback
  • Deliver our test and learn roadmap: set up, run and report on tests across audiences, creative, landing pages and offers
  • Support retention, which makes up roughly 30% of the role – running tests to reduce churn, grow LTV and win back lapsed subscribers
  • Produce clear weekly performance reporting, and turn results into recommendations on what to test, scale or stop next
  • Brief and feed back on paid creative with our brand team, in-house creative resource and external partners, using performance data to shape what gets made next
  • Keep tracking, attribution and platform set-up in good shape, working with our product and engineering team where needed

What we’re looking for

  • At least 3 years’ hands‑on experience running paid social and paid search, ideally in‑house at a high‑growth D2C subscription consumer brand
  • Confident day to day in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads; experience with Amazon Ads or affiliate networks is a bonus
  • Comfortable with numbers: you understand CAC, ROAS, LTV and payback, and can pull and interpret data in GA4, Sheets/Excel or similar
  • A structured approach to testing – you can design a clean test, run it, and explain what it told you
  • A genuine interest in subscription economics – churn, cohorts and lifecycle. Prior retention experience is a bonus, not a requirement
  • Social‑first, with a good eye for what makes paid creative perform and a habit of keeping up with platform changes
  • An AI native, using the best available tools to work faster and smarter
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Recharge (or similar subscription platforms) is a plus
  • Organised, proactive and hungry to learn, with the ambition to take on more and develop as the business grows

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a fast-growing, purpose‑driven B Corp having a real positive impact.
  • Get hands‑on ownership of our paid channels and see the direct impact of your work on the business.
  • Be part of an ambitious start up that puts people first.
  • Work closely with founders and senior leadership, and learn fast in a lean, ambitious team.
  • Take pride in helping us scale to becoming a household name in the UK
  • Salary £40–45k
  • Share options
  • Flexible hybrid working
  • 33 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • 55% employee discount on all products.

Our Values

  • Generous: We are generous of spirit and contribute to meaningful causes.
  • People First: We prioritise our people: employees, customers, and partners.
  • Purposeful: We stay true to our mission to create real change.
  • Brave: We innovate boldly and embrace entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Transparent: We build trust through honesty and openness.
