Highly sought after development opportunity has arisen within a growing independent Accountancy Practice for a Tax Trainee. This role would suit a numerate individual with three A levels, predicted at grade B and above. Our client is seeking someone who is motivated to work towards professional qualifications in a dedicated Tax environment, whilst gaining hands on practical experience. You will be working in a highly trained Tax Team, benefitting from the wisdom of your experienced colleagues. To be considered you need to possess excellent written and verbal communication. Attention to detail is essential and the ability to prioritise your workload. The Tax Trainee would receive full study support options to work towards professional tax qualifications as they develop in the role. Due to the location of this client it would advantageous if you possess a full UK drivers license and have access to your own vehicle. Tax Trainee Duties and Responsibilities Preparing basic tax returns accurately and within deadlines. Assisting with the preparation of more complex tax returns and related submissions. Preparing company tax payment forms and P11D Expenses and Benefits forms. Liaising with clients to obtain information and maintain progress on tax return submissions. Communicating with HMRC regarding routine tax matters and enquiries. Providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the tax department. Studying towards agreed professional tax qualifications and applying learning within the role. Excellent company benefits, including 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays on top!
