Are you a Tax Manger seeking a Private Client Advisory role, where you will be adding real value to your SME clients?
An established Cardiff based accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Private Client Manager/ Senior Manager to join their established private client services team. This is a key role with scope to influence client relationships, develop team members, and contribute to the wider strategic goals of the firm.
You will work closely with HNWIs, entrepreneurs, family offices, and trusts, delivering high-quality tax advice and compliance services.
To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have gained your ATT and/or CTA professional qualifications. It would be highly advantageous if you have gained experience with non-domiciled clients and international tax matters.
Exceptional communication skills are paramount to this position, coupled with strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, especially regarding;HNWIs, trusts, and IHT/CGT planning.
This is a great opportunity to really focus on Private Client advisory work and provide an exemplary service to your clients.
Private Client Manager/ Senior Manger duties and responsibilities;
- Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, partnerships, and trusts.
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex self-assessment tax returns.
- Provide advisory services including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax, non-domicile and residency planning, succession planning, and trust structuring.
- Estate tax experience.
- Managing and developing junior members of the tax team.
- Working within an established Tax Department organising the workload and liaising with other department managers to ensure client and business needs are met.
- Meet and engage new clients, within department and business parameters.
- Continue work to improve and evolve of the department.
- Contribute to business development, including attending networking events, identifying opportunities, and supporting proposals.
