A growing Swansea based Accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts/Audit Semi-Senior. This is a great opportunity for a part qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) seeking to work in a flexible and professional environment. Full study support options would be available to complete your professional exams and become qualified.

On a daily basis the Accounts/Audit Semi-Senior will be undertaking audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion, along with general accounting compliance work. Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards. To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have gained previous accountancy practice experience.

  • Delivery of high quality audit and non-audit services, coordinating team members in delivery of same.
  • Accounts preparation using cloud based accountancy software, including Xero, IRIS, QuickBooks and Sage.
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102) and International Auditing.
  • Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, companies, LLPs and charities.
  • Preparation of the corporate or partnership returns for the above.
  • Assisting on audits.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly / quarterly management accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.

The Accounts/Audit Semi-Senior needs to demonstrate a working knowledge of automated accountancy packages, including; Sage, Xero and CCH products. You will liaise with clients; exceptional communication skills are essential, with advanced IT skills and excellent project management abilities.

Working Hours: 36.25 hours per week Monday-Friday.
